Its dry, healthy air is the reason why there are specialised establishments for respiratory ailments. The beauty of the site was the basis of the initiative to run the "little yellow train". This little train enables visitors to see the countryside from the Conflent to the extremity of the Cerdagne.

This little pathway to the cross offers a beautiful panoramic view. There is a orientation table situated at the crossroads of the road leading to the ski slopes (towards MONT-LOUIS) .

This is one of the most beautiful lakes in the area at an altitude of 2070 metres where a barrage was built at the turn of the century (an important water reserve : 16 million cubic metres).
A pathway leads to the summit of the CARLIT peak at an altitude of 2921 metres.
