Starting at the north-east of the area, in Port Barcarès, following the coast down to the south-east, you reach Cerbère, the last resort before Port Bou and Spain. From sand to pebbles, you can see the different landscapes as well as southern flora.

• The Chateau de VALMY
In an exceptional woody setting, the Chateau de VALMY dominates the sea and Argelès port. It is a stage for birds of prey who act their parts under the control of the Eagles d'Argelès-sur-Mer, as well as other cultural activities.

• VISIT the XII century pre-Romanesque chapel of Notre-Dame de Vie. (view of the Roussillon plain, the coast and the Canigou).

• VISIT the XII century Romanesque chapel of Saint-Laurent built at an altitude of 290 metres (take the road to Valmy near the Massane watch-tower) .

• The Massane watch-tower.
This tower is situated at approximate 800 metres above sea level and offers and a splendid panoramic view of the coast and the Roussillon plain.

• The Rimbeau : with its panoramic view of Collioure

• The Notre-Dame de Consolation hermitage: established in the XVIII century, this classified site is 2 km from Collioure.

• The Madeloc watch-tower: built in 1286, is situated on the road between Collioure and Banyuls (the Ridge circuit)

• The Saint-Elme fort (view of the Roussillon) was built in 1552 and was an important defence point for Collioure (no visits)
